Fly Sussex Paragliding is a Paragliding school and shop. Sharing and Disclosing Your Personal Information
We may share your personal information for the purposes specified in this notice or where there is a legal requirement with:
BHPA (British Hang gliding and Paragliding Association)
The BHPA is the governing body for paragliding and creates the syllabus that we use for tuition. We pass on only the relevant details that the BHPA require for your membership. Your student training records are held by Fly Sussex but information form these documents may be requested by the BHPA or other BHPA registered schools for the purposes of your continued training.
Emergency Services
In the case of an emergency we will pass on any necessary details to the emergency services and/or family contact. This may include your contact details and medical information contained on our booking form as well as any emergency contact details.
Mailchimp
We use mailchimp to deliver emails to our subscribers. This may include marketing material that we feel is relevant to the recipient. The information that mailchimp collects includes email address and may include First Name and Last Name. Mailchimp uses cookies on our site.
Paypal

Google Anlaytics
When you browse our website or interact with an email that we send to you, we may use Google Anlaytics to collect information about your behaviour in regards to browsing our website and the emails we send. This may include details of your operating system, location, IP address, browser ID, browsing activity, and other information about how you interacted with our digital platforms. The data we access through Google analytics is anonymous, we do not store any personally identifiable information.

Consequences of Not Providing Your Data
You are not obligated to provide your personal information to Fly Sussex, however, as this information is required for us to provide you with our services/deliver your products/legitimate interests, we will not be able to offer some/all our services without it. You will not be able to take part in the schools paragliding activities without disclosing the relevant information needed for safe practice, including any medical information deemed pertinent.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Fly Sussex only ever retains personal information for as long as is necessary. We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. The BHPA requires us as a school to hold student information for a minimum of six years.
Where we use your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent (if based on your consent).

Fly Sussex only processes your personal information in compliance with this privacy notice and in accordance with the relevant data protection laws.
